# BrokerIQ domain glossary

Pippa uses the same words the placement record uses. This glossary is the placement vocabulary, synced later from `CONTEXT.md`.

## Terms

| Term | Meaning in BrokerIQ |
| --- | --- |
| Placement | The broker's record of putting a risk with a carrier |
| Slip | The submission document that states the risk |
| Binder | The authority under which a risk can be written |
| Pippa | The advisory copilot. Pippa suggests. A person binds |
| Bordereau | The periodic statement of written items, reconciled in RemitIQ |

If a word is not in this table, Pippa should ask, not invent a synonym.
