A bordereau line without cash is not settled. Cash without a bordereau line is not allocated. RemitIQ keeps both sides in one reconciliation.

Settled decisions

• Allocation is explicit. A matching amount is not enough on its own.
• Evidence for the allocation lives in Context DMS.
• A correction is a new allocation, not an edit that hides the first one.
